Red & Gold

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
I should have probably posted this mani before Christmas because of the colour scheme but better late than never!
I haven't done a half moon mani in a while and since I'm not very good at nail art, I really like these because they look good and are easy to do! I'm not sure about this colour combo for everyday use but around the holidays everything goes!

I used Nails Inc Magnetic Big Ben for this many because it was the closest to the shade of gold that I wanted. It also has a sort of matte finish which I thought was interesting for the half moon:

Purple Embelished Half Moons

Today I have a mani from the vault to show you as I still haven't removed 17 gold glitter crackle from my nails. I'm trying my best to keep a mani for longer than 24 hours, especially if it's still intact.
I like to see my nails polished all the time but I also have to take it easy on them as they are still peeling around the sides and I think it's the harshness of the acetone.

Onto this mani. Not much to say really. It's been sitting in my "to post" folder for a long time now! I got this idea from a picture I saw on Sephora's website whilst browsing. The model was wearing some sort of stiletto extensions and I'm not a fan of extensions but it still looked really cool.

I love half moon manis and need to start doing a few more of these but I wouldn't necessarily wear this one for very long because the rhinestones would start to fall off!

Flowery Half Moon Mani

Hello everyone. It's Wednesday but I don't have something pink today...sorry! I will dip back into the pink stash soon :-) However, taking yesterdays Color Club Best Dressed list mani, I decided to create some half moons as I hadn't done this in a very long time. In fact, my first ever post in this blog was a violet and purple half moon mani!!

I swapped the colours around on the ring finger to create a bit of a change and added some blue sticker flowers because although half moon manis are awesome, it looked too "naked" without them!
