I used 2 coats of Kiko 209 as a base colour and then painted some New York Summer Vegas Silver which is silver micro glitter and holo bar glitter, onto half the nails. I wanted some larger pieces of glitter in there too so I added a few strokes of Essence Blair. I really like how soft and sparkly it looks. I may do quite a few glitter gradients like this in the near future.

Soft and Full of Sparkle
It's just one of those days! I changed my polish three times today and just wasn't happy with anything I put on! So when I got home from running some errands, I decided on a very soft colour with a glitter gradient after seeing so many beautiful ones on Instagram.

Liberty's Butterflies
I really felt like I needed to add something else to my nails today. I could no longer stand Mavala Liberty's lack of colour. My hands just looked so pale with this polish.
So, before I left for work today, I tried to make it a little more interesting and inadvertently created a spring looking mani.
I sponged half the nail with Rimmel London Apricot Punch and stamped with Konad White and BM205. I also added some New York Summer glitter (I think this one is called Las Vegas??) but in hindsight I should have probably left this out. It looks like the butterflies are being attacked by a swarm of insects. Lol!

NOTD: Tribal, Avatar Inspired & New York Summer - Hot Baby Blue
I was watching some you tube videos by Meliney yesterday and came across these tribal nails which are inspired by Avatar. If you haven't checked out her youtube channel, please do. She has some amazingly cute designs. I'm so busy at the moment and to add to top it off, have also hit some sort of mental block...I can't come up with anything creative!!! Arrgghhh!!!
I used New York Summer Hot Baby Blue for the base colour. This was the first time I tried a New York polish and although I loved the colour, I wasn’t impressed with the consistency. This particular blue is so sheer that when I first started applying it, I thought I would need at lest 6 coats...no joke! I ended up painting a white base colour and laying the Hot Baby Blue over it. Much better!! This meant that I only had to end up applying 2 coats and the blue really popped to what it looks like in the bottle:
