piCture pOlish - Shocked

Hi guys!

Can you believe it's 1st September already? Summer is almost over although I am told that we are to expect a few more days of heat over here. Holding onto high temperatures as much as I can although I'm excited that Autumn is just around the corner.

Today I have another piCture pOlish collaboration shade to show you - Shocked. This vibrant pink jelly with scattered holographic particles was in collaboration with Shatter me Claire. Due to it's jelly nature, you will need 3 coats for full coverage but the formula is flawless as we've come to expect from piCture pOlish.

Oh yes! And as you have most probably noticed, I filed my nails back to squares. Although I like ovals/ almond shape, they're just not me. I think squares suit me much more.

Yet another amazing piCture pOlish/ blogger creation! I just love that scattered holo in there!
piCture pOlish can be purchased directly from their website - picturepolish.com.au. They do international shipping. You can also purchase it at various etailers throughout the world. piCture pOlish - pshiiit

A week doesn't go by that I don't check out Camille's blog. She is super talented, her manis always inspire me and her photography skills are amazing. The polish I am showing you today is one of the collaboration shades and as per Camille's blog, it's called Pshiiit.

This is 2 coats of pshiiit. No topcoat. As it's a little on the sheer side, I will probably go for 3 coats next time. The bottle colour transfers onto my nails pretty accurately. It pulls more towards green although that blue jelly base is still visible, making it a nice teal duochrome. There are also some blue/ green flakies in there although I wish there were more of them because they're so hard to capture.

piCture pOlish - Vampire

Here is another gorgeous piCture pOlish shade which I can see myself wearing various times this Fall. It's called Vampire and the name completely suits this blood red jelly! Squishy and gory, perfect for Halloween!

This is two coats but you can add a third coat to get a deeper burgundy red colour!

Revlon Royal Makes a Summer Appearance

Are there any darker coloured polishes that you would wear in the Summer and pretty much all year round? Well, for me, one of those polishes is Revlon Royal! Predominantly what would be considered a Fall colour, for me it's just one of those colours that I would even wear to the beach (if I lived anywhere the beach)! That may be because it's a polish that we can't get in the UK but even if we could, I think I'd love it all the same!

I love Revlon Royal on it's own but how fantastic does it look with a coat of Max Factor Fantasy Fire? It's a match made in polish heaven!

Apologies for the quality of these pictures. I took them late at night and although I used my lamp as I usually do, for some reason they came out quite dark and full of shadows!

This was also the perfect opportunity for me to wear my Revlon Royal/ Max Factor FF ring that my friend Cassie (IG: cassgooner) made for me. Isn't it gorgeous?

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Enchanted Forest Glitter Sandwich

I hope everyone is having a great Bank Holiday weekend! This afternoon I have a bright green glitter and jelly sandwich to show you which I did a couple of weeks ago when my nails were still short!

I used Risque Verde Esmeralda, a vibrant green jelly from Brazil as my jelly base! Risque polishes don't get as much attention as Speciallita ones, at least not over here, but they have some amazing collections and colours.
Sandwiched between this jelly goodness is one coat of NYX Enchanted Forest - large, medium and small pieces of hex holo gold and green glitter.

Razzle Dazzle - Glistening Raspberry Gems on My Nails!

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle! This is my only DL polish and it's a mini which I got with the December GlossyBox if I recall correctly. DL's are really expensive in the UK so when I'm willing to spend quite a bit on polish, I usually go for some OPI's or Essie's.

The reason they are so expensive is most probably because they do have some amazing shades and glitters. For my bank account's sake, I should really keep the purchase of these to a minimum but after trying this one, I don't think that will be possible! Lol!

Razzle Dazzle is a lovely blackened berry jelly, packed with red and magenta glitter. I absolutely love this polish, I couldn't stop staring at it! The colour has so much depth, it's so dramatic and the glitter is like an explosion of raspberry gems!

Two thick coats provides opaque coverage but next time I'll probably layer it over a berry creme so I don't run out of this beauty too fast! It dries quite gritty which I love but for you girls that don't like gritty finishes, it's nothing a coat of SV can't fix.

Oh my...look at all this beautiful juicy sparkle:
