Rose and Gold Touches

Today I'm wearing a soft pink shade. Babydoll by Leighton Denny. It's one of my favourite pinks along with Jessica Samba Parade, although I say that about a lot of shades! The application on this one was quite streaky and it needed three coats to even everything out but nothing too bad for a pastel.

My latest attempts at nail art have been feeble to say the least so I kept it quite simple with a mish-mash of glitter and stamping.
The two gold glitters used on the accent finger are W7 Gold Dazzle and a coat of a Brazilian brand called Dote Preciosos - Cristais Dourados, sent to me by Bia. I stamped using BM14 and Barry M Golf and Silver Foil.

Glittery Tips On A Bed Of Roses

Orly Artificial Sweetener is such a pretty and soft colour which means I probably shouldn't have added anything to it but I couldn't help it. As the colour reminds me very much of roses, I thought that would be a good place to start.

I stamped with BM14 and Konad White Polish. The french tips are China Glaze Polarized from the Prismatic Chrome Glitters collection (I'm not ready to give up on this polish yet)! This glitter is so dense that it makes a perfect one coater for tape manis and french tips!

Nail Girls - Emerald Green Shimmer & Golden Snowflakes

To be honest, the first time I heard of Nail Girls polishes was when nihrida reviewed one of their shades a few weeks ago.
Nail Girls is a British nail colour company based in Islington, London.Their products are 4 free and their package is recyclable. You can read more about how the company was set up here and about their various products and amazing range of colours here.

Overall, I am quite impressed with this polish. It applies really well and the consistency makes it very manageable. The brush is dense and picks up a good amount of polish. It's quite long because of the bottle size but that doesn't bother me at all, it didn't make application any trickier. I actually prefer it to short, stubby lids/ brushes. It's super pigmented and you could get away with one, well-applied coat.

I like the bottle shape as well, to stash them sideways and it's the same as POP Beauty and American Apparel. These polishes retail for £10.50 which is a bit on the higher side but based on the one I've tried, I suppose the quality justifies the price. I would definitely pick up another bottle if they have a sale.

I thought the colour was quite Christmassy as well so I added some gold glitter tips and stamped snowflakes :-)

The product was sent to me for review, by the company.

Pinkyberry & Old English Roses

Yesterday I showed you my first franken polish which I named Pinkyberry. As the colour is a cross between pink and a light shade of berry, it reminded me of old English roses painted on a porcelain tea pot :-)
I stamped roses using BM14 and Konad Silver stamping polish. The Konad silver and gold stamping polishes aren't as heavily pigmented as the other Konad colours, therefore not as good (imo) for stamping.

Yummy little cupcakes & sparkly cheeries

What an unoriginal title!!! Sorry, I couldn't think of anything to call this mani other than what it actually is *sigh*! Following on from yesterday's swatch of Cliche Atracao, I thought the colour was so girly and candy like that I had to pick cute little cupcakes to keep with the theme!

I stamped the cupcakes at a side angle with BM14 and Konad White Stamping polish, and added some red rhinestones for the cherries.
