Bejeweled For Audrey

I've been wearing this mani for nearly two days now and although it's quite simple, I've received a few compliments on it. I guess people like the look of manis that they would easily be able to recreate themselves, even if they don't have a lot of practise with nail art.


The base colour is the famous China Glaze For Audrey which I only acquired in a swap recently. I can see why so many people love this turquoise cream.

I then sponged some China Glaze I'm Not Lion from the On Safari collection, to the top half of the nail. I'm in love with this glitter and so glad I purchased it even when I hadn't yet seen any swatches. To add a little bit more sparkle, I randomly placed individual hex glitter pieces.

    It looks chic :) In my opinion, people like manis that stand up. To us nail polish addits it is hard that a mani really stands up, for we see many of them every day. And we tend to forget that simple nail art is quite effective and classy ^^

      Totally agree. I get a lot more compliments from people when I'm just wearing a nice colour or a little bit of sponged glitter like this. When I do somehing really elaborate that takes me forever, I get very few comments from people but a lot from bloggers/ nail ensthusiasts! :)

    I've seen a For Audrey+silver glitter manicure somewhere, but there glitter was on the tips. I like yours just as much and now I'm looking forward sooo much to when my package with For Audrey arrives! You and Danny made me "hungry" for it :D

    Your differencial, Vanessa, is that you are very creative! You have organized the glitter pieces in a way it makes it even more beautiful... If I were to do that mani, I'd never think of doing that, I'd have thrown them randomly... :P
