Erre Due - The Blues and The Brights

I've been busy swatching this weekend. I ended up swatching six polishes which is a lot for me as I can just about manage 3 a week. Lol!

The four polishes I'm about to show you are the last Erre Due polishes I have. I showed you some of the brands' pastels and neons as well as one of their Blue Jeans polishes and today I have two more brights from their summer collection, and two beautiful blues including another Blue Jeans.

First up is No182. I love these sort medium blues, it's a definite fall must have for me as I tend to wear blues all year round. This is 2 coats and the formula was amazingly smooth.

Blue Jeans Used No72. Part of the Blue Jeans duo. You can see the darker blue here. This light powder blue is packed with silver micro-shimmer and dries matte. The formula is very pigmented and creamy, you can get away with using one coat.

Erre Due Pink (these are mini 6ml bottles that have no name or number). This one is a raspberry pink creme which I loved the look of in the bottle but it gives me lobster hands :(. It's a pretty pink but it really doesn't do my skin tone any favours. The formula was good, opaque in 2 coats.

Erre Due green. A pretty medium green which unlike all other Erre Due's I've tried, this one is some sort of jelly/creme hybrid. It applied like a creme but has a jelly finish. I only used 2 coats in this swatch but 3 would be needed to completely cover vnl.

Overall, I was really impressed with the formulas and brushes on all these Erre Due polishes. It seems that relatively unknown brands don't tend to disappoint me as much as the most popular brands sometimes do. Maybe it's due to the fact that I expect quite a lot from a polish I've just dished out £11 on.

Erre Due - Neon Fluo 01 & Blair

Today I have another Erre Due polish to show you. It's a neon so I'm trying to wear them the most I can before summer is officially over but to be honest, I am over them a little. I have already shown you a couple of their neons here which I was generally happy with and this vivid orange with red undertones doesn't disappoint either.

It looked quite watery as soon as I opened the bottle but it's opaque and even in two coats. So far I've been really impressed with Erre Due's latest collections.

I'm planning to wear this mani for at least a couple of days (planning being the key word) so I layered 1 coat of Essence Blair over it. I was going for a jelly sandwich but didn't want to mute out the "neonness".

Erre Due - Neons & Pastel

Today I will be sharing with you three polishes by a brand called Erre Due. I first came across Erre Due whilst holidaying in Greece last Christmas and grabbed a bottle of their Blue Jeans Blue Black polish which is very similar to Barry M Denim. Since this brand isn't available in the UK, I haven't come across it since then, until I was contacted by their Events Manager to review some of their new polishes.

Now onto some of the swatches. First up is No184 (unfortunately no polish names). This is a neon orange which I had to photograph in the shade to capture the true colour. The formula is quite opaque and creamy for a neon. It covers well in 2 coats and I had no problem with brush marks on this one. What more could I ask of a neon?

This is 3 coats of No186, a get-your-sunglasses-out neon green! The formula on this one was totally different from the other neon. It was extremely streaky, didn't even itself out and I gave up after 3 coats. It's one of those I'll definitely be layering over white.

This is 2 coats of No94. I believe this one is from their fast drying range, thus the "1" on the bottle! The formula was good for a pastel. It's smooth, not chalky at all and opaque in two coats. I'm not sure about the drying time as I had been swatching neons up until then so this one obviously seemed to dry much slower than the neons.

They were very sweet and sent me the loveliest box wrapped in a white leather string bow. They even threw in a leaflet of their latest nail trends: Ombre, Gradient, Newspaper Nails and Water Marble.

If you like Chanel Les Jeans you'll love Erre Due Blue Jeans

When I first spotted this polish whilst out shopping in Greece, I immediately thought of the Chanel Les Jeans collection but as we all know, they come with a price tag that I just can't justify. So, instead I got the next best thing - Erre Due Blue Jeans in Blue Black.

Erre Due is a Greek cosmetics brand that offers a large variety of make up and nail polishes but this polish is the first product I've tried from the brand. It cost me €7 which I suppose is still pricey but a bargain compared to Les Jeans. Their Blue Jeans line consists of 2 polishes - "Blue Black" and "Used" which is a lighter "stone-washed" blue. I never went back to get "Used" and I regret it so much now :-(

This is 2 coats of Blue Black and I can't even begin to explain how wonderful the formula is! Is is so opaque that you could get away with 1 coat, yet it glides on as smooth as butter. The consistency of the polish is so easy to manage that I didn't have to do any clean up at all. It's not very often I find a polish I could give a 10/10 to.

Blue Black is a true "jeans" blue, in fact, I have a pair of jeans exactly the same shade. It is packed with silver micro glitter which is clearly visible in the bottle and when on the nail, it adds to the "jeans" effect (not that my jeans are shimmery in any way, but you know what I mean!)

It dries slightly matte so you will need to apply a top coat if you like your polish shiny (I prefer the mattified version). Here it is with 1 coat of CND Speedy:
