Cute time

It's been a few days since I posted anything nail related. I got back from holiday a couple of days ago and don't feel all that great. I've literally just been moping around, doing nothing!

Today's mani is similar to something I saw in a Kawaii nail art website and thought it would be a great idea to try and recreate it. I sort of regretted it half way through. It was way too fiddly and a PITA to do in a short space of time when the 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow were still wet. But alas... this is how it turned out. I suppose it caught my eye because it's cute but I wouldn't know exactly how to describe it!

  1. I love this, the pearls are too cute. What polish colours did you use?

  2. So unbelievably cute. I bookmarked this as a future mani idea - I will have to make sure I have plenty of time to do it though! :)

  3. @ Vita - I used OPI Alpine Snow, Leighton Denny Babydoll and the copper/ gold is an un-named polish by Miss Sporty :-)

@ A Polished Touch - yes, you're absolutely right. If you are going to be tapping off the tips, you'll need some lengthy drying time :-)

  10. Oh that is cute. I love the reversal of the French manicure colours. I just got some striping tape this week so might have to attempt this manicure and test out my new tape :-)

  11. I love this mani! I bought some tape after seeing this and my question to you is how do you cut the tape to make it look so nice and perfect fitting to your nail? I used small scissors, but it still hangs over just a bit. I am trying this out in black and pink.
    Thanks for sharing your art!

  12. @ Melinda - I cut a small, random piece of tape and place it on my nail with tweezers. It doesn't matter if it hangs over the sides because you can then just cut off the excess with a very small pair of scissors.
